A 'taily' catch

That's Mufasa, he's never been afraid to look like a twit because of his self-confidence. Scar's careful manners and grammatically correct speech patterns. His oh, so carefully cultured exterior is to hide a deeply insecure lion who never got over "mummy & daddy love him more & made him King... What about me?"
i have an au I'm working on where Mufasa's death really was an accident & Scar is a great King & the only difference I've made is the fact that their parents treated them the same, taught them both to rule & explained that Mufasa was chosen because he'd need Scar's help but if they chose Scar, the pride could be taken over by rouges (because Skar's not physically strong like Mufasa). Once he's king, he makes Zira his champion & they kick arse together
